First Visit

During your first visit to our office we want to take the time to get acquainted and gather information. This includes a thorough examination and possibly taking x-rays we feel may be required to make a complete diagnosis. At this time we will also discuss with you the nature of any necessary dental care.

We have ways of explaining procedures to children, being honest and presenting it in a manner that will not frighten them. If your child asks, “will it hurt?” We feel it is wise to say that Dr. Shaw, Dr. Martin and Dr. Ashley are your friends and will be very gentle with you. Avoid phrases such as “it won’t hurt” and “that wasn’t so bad.” We want your child to have positive memories of going to our office.

Please print and fill out our new patient forms. Bring them with you at first appointment, Thank You.
